\n\t\t\t\tWhat is the PPWR?\n\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\tThe new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)<\/strong> is the EU packaging regulation that will soon be binding for all member states.
\nIts goal: reduce packaging waste, strengthen recycling, and close material loops.<\/strong>\n\t\t\t\t\"UPA-204\"\n\t

From its entry into force (expected in 2026), only packaging that:<\/p>\n\t\t

is recyclable<\/strong>,<\/p>\n\t\t

is clearly labelled<\/strong>, and<\/p>\n\t\t

contributes demonstrably to the circular economy<\/strong><\/p>\n\tmay be placed on the EU market.
\nBy 2040, the EU aims to reduce packaging waste by 15% – an ambitious but essential goal.\n\t\t\t\t\"UPA-73\"\n\t

\n\t\t\t\tUPA PACK is PPWR-ready\n\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\tAt UPA PACK<\/strong>, we believe that sustainable packaging doesn’t start with new laws.
\nFor years, we have relied on materials and processes that are fully recyclable<\/strong> – without compromising stability or performance.\n\t\t

Our products are made from high-density solid board<\/strong>, a single-material paper product<\/strong> based on recycled fibers.<\/p>\n\t\t

The adhesive used is water-soluble<\/strong> and therefore harmless for recycling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t

reduces material use compared to alternatives,<\/p>\n\t\t

consists of renewable raw materials,<\/p>\n\t\t

and can be recycled multiple times.<\/p>\n\tTherefore, paper cores, edge protectors and interlayers from UPA PACK<\/strong> are not part of the packaging problem – they are part of the solution<\/strong>.
\nEfficient transport packaging prevents damage, returns and CO\u2082-intensive reshipments<\/strong>.\n\t

In short: choosing sustainable transport protection saves resources across the board.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t

\nThey are recyclable according to EN 13430 \/ ISO 18604<\/strong>, use a water-soluble adhesive<\/strong>, and contain no plastic or foil coatings<\/strong>.
\nAfter use, they can be disposed of via the paper recycling stream<\/strong>.\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tLabelling & Transparency\n\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\tOur packaging is designed in accordance with EN 13430 \/ ISO 18604<\/strong>.
\nEach product can be marked with a material code (e.g., PAP 20)<\/strong> confirming its recyclability.
\nThis ensures transparency throughout the supply chain – from production to reprocessing.<\/strong>\n\t\t

Disposal<\/h4>Like cardboard boxes – via the paper recycling stream.
\nPlease dispose of dry and clean.\n\t

\n\t\t\t\tConclusion\n\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\tThe PPWR will change the European packaging market – but not our philosophy.
